9 velcro stick on dots
10″ strip of velcro tape
2 buttons

purple embroidery floss and needle
purple squeeze paint
craft paper, craft glue and a pen

Instructions:
1. Cut a 16″ by 14″ rectangle of turquoise felt.

2. Sketch a menorah shape on craft paper. Menorah size should leave approx.. 2″ of a border on 3 sides of turquoise backing. Approx 6″ on top. Cut out pattern and use to cut the menorah out of purple felt. Then cut two 2′ by 6″ rectangles of purple felt to use for hanging loops.

3. Paint spoons yellow. When dry, place a velcro stick on dot on the unpainted side of each spoon, near the bottom of the spoon wider’s end.

4. Center menorah on turquoise felt and glue, leaving the top bar of the menorah unglued.

5. Fold back top bar of menorah and glue the strip of velcro to the top inner edge. Let dry.

6. Glue buttons to each end of loop hangers. Then glue loops to the turquoise felt, about 2 1/2″ from each side and about 1 1/2″ from top. Fold the remainder of the loops back over the coat hanger and glue to the back side of the turquoise felt.

7. Glue the bottom edge of the menorah’s top bar (not the part with velcro) to the turquoise felt. Use embroidery floss, tack down the two corners with x’s. Reinforce buttons with the embroidery floss. Decorate hanging with squeeze paint. Let dry.
