It has been four years since we printed the last listing of Jewish Deaf Services and Organizations in JDCC Nov/Dec 2002 issue so we have updated the listing.

JDCC maintains a comprehensive resource and referral service. We constantly update our records on the many Jewish Deaf organizations across North America. There has been many changes since the National Congress of Jewish Deaf was reorganized as Jewish Deaf Congress. A good number of organizations who were affiliated with NCJD/JDC have since ceased. They are:

Cleveland Hebrew Association of the Deaf, Los Angeles Hebrew Association of the Deaf, Temple Beth Or of the Deaf – N.Y., Boston Hebrew Association of the Deaf, Chabad House’s Hearing Impaired Program in Los Angeles, Jewish Captioned Films in Baltimore, New York Society of the Deaf and Manhattan’s Young Adult Jewish Deaf.

In this issue we list the various services and programs available to Jewish Deaf people. We would also welcome your mention of other worthwhile groups and causes for possible addition to this resource listing.
