[NOTE: video is not related to Deaf but lecture is captioned and gives updated and relevant perspective about the Holocaust and Genocides]
In response to the question: “Why Holocaust and Genocide Studies?” many people would answer reflexively: “Never Again!” It is a mantra made familiar by K12 education, countless published survivor testimonies, and popular films, dealing mainly, but not only, with the Holocaust. At this month’s lecture, Dr. Tatjana Lichtenstein will offer a different perspective on the significance of Holocaust and Genocide Studies. Dr. Lichtenstein is Associate Professor, Department of History, College of Liberal Arts and Director, Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies. Source: YouTube – Texas Exes
