Brooklyn Hebrew Society of the Deaf (BHSD) is hosting Yom Kippur services in ASL.

Wednesday, October 9

9:00am – Services
1:00pm – Yizkor memorial
7:15pm – Havdalah – fasting ends

Rabbi Fred Friedman, Samuel Landau – Torah Reader and Steve Weiner – Cantor will lead the services.

There will be a break-the-fast dinner sponsored by Lynne & Philip Jacob in memory of his parents Ovadiah ben Yaakov Ahron & Davorah bat Shlomo Zalman.

$100.00 – BHSD member
$125.00 – non-BHSD member

For a place to sleep on Tuesday evening, Hotel Executive Suites 30 Minue Street, Carteret, NJ.
Hotel is offering Special rate for BHSD guests: $75 per night per room plus 8% tax. Contact the hotel directly at 732 541 2005. Check out is at 1pm so if you want to take a nap on a real bed you will need to pay for another night.
