Sofia Seitchik is scheduled to be special guest speaker at a “Gather, Connect, and Schmooze Brunch hosted by Washington Society of Jewish Deaf (WSJD) on June 2.
Seitchik will present a pictorial tour of her life as a Deaf Jew in Uzbekistan and the Bukharian Jewish culture.
Bukharian desserts will be served and copies of her book “The Light of Deaf Women” can be purchased during this Bagels and Noshes brunch.
