The Jewish Community Center in Manhattan (JCC) and Jewish Deaf Resource Center (JDRC) is co-sponsoring the film showing of “Reel Encounters” at the JDC on Monday evening, February 7th.
The film, “Reel Encounters”, a “collection of groundbreaking short films made by and about different deaf communities from around the world” is captioned and Alexis Kashar, deaf attorney and president of Fanwood Board of Trustees will moderate a deaf panel discussion following the film which will also be interpreted for hearing people.
A JDRC reception will follow the panel discussion.
