Rabbi Alan Henkin, a hearing reform rabbi who presided at Temple Beth Solomon of the Deaf (TBS) for ten years in the 1990’s and Regional Director of the Pacific Southwest Council of the Union for Reform Judaism since July, 2000, will leave southern California at the end of spring to take a job in New York City with the Central Conference of American Rabbis.
