Mazal Tov! Deaf and Hearing Impaired Celebrate Bar-Bat Mitzvah

The Judaic Heritage Program for Israel’s Deaf and Hearing Impaired, administered by the Council or Young Israel Rabbis in Israel, held its annual Bar and Bat Mitzvah Celebration on Monday, May 16, at Yaakov Synagogue in Ramat Eshkol.

Thirty nine deaf and hearing-impaired children from all over Israel celebrated their “rite of passage”, followed by a gala luncheon, day-long program and tour of Jerusalem
