Pupils for the “Ohr Avner Chabad” School in Rostov-On-Don, Russia visited local school for the deaf children. This was a continuation of the on-going project run by the municipal special educational department and Rostov Jewish community, called “Jews on the Don.” Jewish children told their counterparts about their school, made short performance with songs and dances and showed video about Ohr Avner School. Their hosts asked a lot of questions about Shabbat, tefillin, tzedaka, which were all answered in detail. At the end of a meeting, Jewish children were presented with a painting made by one of the alumni of the hosting school.
