The Jewish Deaf Resource Center in Manhattan, NY has announced that they are co-sponsoring an event during the Jewish Deaf Congress conference on Thursday, May 30th.
A JDC announcement says “There will be a special panel consisting of well-respected lawyers from the Deaf community, who will talk about accessibility and participation of Deaf people in the mainstream Jewish community.
“The panel will start at 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2013. A Mediterranean-themed reception will follow the panel presentation, with various presentations on the theme of our Jewish connection with the land of Israel.
“We want to thank the JDRC and the people behind its mission for their generous sponsorship, and for their commitment to seeing the JDC conference succeed! See you at the JDC conference next month!”
The JDC converence will be held at Park Hyatt Hotel in Washington DC from May 29 to June 2nd. The theme is “Reenergizing the Jewish Deaf Community”.
