We had over 40 participants at our recent party. We played dreidel and had a Chanukah quiz. Scott Brachman won the quiz.
A traditional dinner including potato lathes and blintzes was served. We even had sufganlyot which Sharon’s aunt from Israel made (while teaching her step sister-in-law how to make it) in the Soudakoff’s madhouse. Every time it was served, it was gone in seconds!!!
Big Thanks to Santa Monica Chabad House for donating Menorahs and candles which each participant took home.
We exchanged gifts. It was fun picking out wrapped gifts and not knowing what it was!
