“Five Needles” is a 14-minute film about four deaf women in concentration camps during World War II who hide their deafness to stay alive.
Funded by Neath Films and supported by the British Sign Lnaguage Broadcasting Trust, the film was produced and directed on small 2,000 pound budget.
Julian Peedle-Calloo, a deaf British director, informed JDCC News that the full 14-minute long film is now available at www.bslbt.co.uk/zoom/films/zoom_2011/5_needles/
