Dr. Steven Rattner, member of Washington Society of Jewish Deaf (WSJD) will be awarded the Amos Kendall Award which is presented to a deaf person for notable excellence in a professional field not related to deafness.
Dr. Rattner, a dentist since 1982 operates his dental practice in College Park and Gaithersburg, MD.
The Amos Kendall Award is presented by the Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) and the Laurent Clerc Cultural Fund Committee.
This year the Laurent Clerc Cultural Fund celebrates its 50th anniversary. Awards will be given out during Charter Day Awards and Luncheon Program on Saturday, April 6th.
