Deaf & hearing Israeli dancers to perform in Maryland

Amnon and Jill Damti, dancers from Israel, will give an interactive performance “TWO WORLDS” in dance and pantomime at Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville, MD on Sunday, May 15, 2016.

Amnon, who is deaf, is a choreographer. His wife, Jill who is hearing incorporates points of inflection between the deaf and hearing worlds.

They have given performances around the world including the White House in Washington, DC, at schools and community centers.

The Rockville, MD performance was hosted by the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School and partially funded by the Israel’s Office of Cultural Affairs in North America, the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, and the Washington Society of Jewish Deaf.
