Contestants perform in American Sign Language (ASL) to compete with against each other. The top ten entries are selected from a range of ASL storytelling genres, such as ABC, number, or freestyle stories. These top ten artists will then go on to compete and showcase their talents where they will be judged by veterans of ASL storytelling and poetry. The winner of this competition will win a grand prize of $1,000, as well as a trophy and title of Best ASL Performance of the Year!
