The fourth Deafblind Shabbaton “Chicken Soup for the Jewish Deafblind Soul” will be held over at Pearlstone Retreat Center in Reistertown, MD. during weekend of Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14th.
This event is being publicized as a “fully accessible opportunity for Jews of all backgrounds living with dual hearing and vision loss to experience Sabbath together.”
They say delicious, certified-Kosher meals will be served. Workshops and activities including cooking, dancing and farm activities.
SSPs and interpreters will be provided as well as Braille and large print materials. Spuses are welcome to participate. Transportation will be provided from the camp on Friday by request.
