Jewish Deaf Foundation (JDC) in New York City hosted another “Chai Hour” event on Sunday, March 13.
David Michalowski of Baltimore, MD gave presentation “How the Media Keeps Getting It Wrong About Israel – And What We Can Do About It”
JDC reports that David spoke about how the mainstream media twists stories about Israel, stories that end up making Israel look bad and increases hate and anti-Semitism against our small country. He then ended the presentation with a few pieces of advice for fighting back against the mainstream media. This includes writing letters of protest, reading alternative news sources, and sharing the truth about Israel on social media.
JDC will be hosting a “Purim in China” event on Sunday, March 20. It starts at 4 PM at 664 Sterling Place in Brooklyn. Purchase tickets which includes Chinese buffet. Space is limited to the first 50 people who buy tickets.
