Together with my friend, the Minister of Religious Services מתן כהנא Matan Kahana, ביקרתי הבוקר בבית חב״ד ״ עמותת חושים בן דן – Chushim Ben Dan “, a new center established under the initiative and blessed leadership of Rabbi Yehoshua Soudakoff, (@[570457191:2048: Yehoshua Soudakoff, The first Deaf Rabbi in Israel.
This center is blessed and important from no other because it gives deaf and honorable people the ability to connect with the Jewish nation, to the roots and religion itself as one man!
Together we saw their activity for the linguistic impact of the prayers, holidays and israel for deaf sign language speakers, bar mitzvah rituals and weddings, weekly affairs and groupings.
When I first told the minister about the suspension of the deaf community and the honor of hearing from the religious world so far, as a result of lack of access, he immediately understood the great urges to promote the issue.
I would like to thank the Minister of Religious Services Matan Kahana, for being recognized during this cardinal and dedicated to the mission to increase the center of “Hosim” and close Judaism also to the deaf and deaf population of hearing!
אלפי אנשים חירשים וכבדי שמיעה אינם יכולים להתחבר ולהתקרב לדת היהודית משום שהיא לא נגישה עבורם!
יחד עם חברי, השר לשירותי דת מתן כהנא Matan Kahana, ביקרתי הבוקר בבית חב״ד ״ עמותת חושים בן דן – Chushim Ben Dan״, מרכז חדש שהוקם ביוזמתו ובהובלתו הברוכה של הרב יהושע סודקוף, (Yehoshua Soudakoff) החירש הראשון בארץ.
מרכז זה מבורך וחשוב מאין כמוהו מכיוון והוא נותן לאנשים חירשים וכבדי שמיעה את היכולת להתחבר לעם היהודי, לשורשים ולדת עצמה כאחד האדם!
יחד ראינו מקרוב את הפעילות שלהם להנגשה השפתית של התפילות, החגים ומועדי ישראל לאנשים חירשים דוברי שפת הסימנים, טקסי בר מצווה וחתונות, פרשות שבוע וחבורתות.
כשסיפרתי לראשונה לשר על הניתוק של הקהילה החירשת וכבדת השמיעה מעולם הדת עד כה, כתוצאה מחוסר הנגשה, הוא מיד הבין את הדחיפות הרבה לקידום הנושא.
אני רוצה להודות לשר לשירותי דת מתן כהנא, על שהכיר במהלך הקרדינלי הזה ונרתם למשימה להגדלת מרכז ״חושים״ וקירוב היהדות גם לאוכלוסיית החירשים וכבדי השמיעה!
