Rabbi David Kastor and his wife Tchia have launched Kol Simcha, an international shidduch matchmaking organization for Jewish deaf and hard of hearing single people seeking their match.
Statement on their website states it has been approved by Rabbi Eliezer Lederfeind and Rabbi David Roimi.
Rabbi Kastor has BA in computer science from Gallaudet University and was ordinated as rabbi from Ner Israel in Baltimore 17 years ago.
He founded the Ahavas Yisrael School of the Deaf in Frederick, MD and taught there for two years. He has been Maryland’s Regional Representative to Our Way for 31 years.
Together with his wife Tchia who was born in Israel, they run Our Way activities and find shidduchim among the deaf community around the Jewish world.
