Jewish Big Brothers is currently seeking interested children ages 6-18 and dedicated adult volunteers with hearing loss. Hearing adult males skilled in American Sign Language are also encouraged to apply. Over 85 years of service have proven how important the life-long impact of a mentoring relationship is to both chil¬dren and volunteers alike.

The goal of this new program is to serve the Jewish Community by matching boys and girls with hearing loss with a caring adult role model who shares their experience and has sign language skills. A social worker fluent in American Sign Language will conduct monthly supervi-sion of the match and be a source of ongoing support for both the family and the volunteer.
