High Holidays – 2020

Hinda Kasher-Hoffer speaks in this video on preparations for the upcoming high holidays this month.

Friday evening, September 18th – Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah begins.
The Ten Days of Repentance are the first ten days of the Hebrew month of Tishrei, beginning with the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah and ending with the conclusion of Yom Kippur. All year, we are busy with our lives. This holiday is opportunity to pause and re-evaluate what we have done. That is a conversation you need with yourself.

Sunday evening, September 27th – Yom Kippur.
For 25 hours we do not consume food or drinks. We cleanse our soul, mind and heart. Focus on yourself and talk with yourself and others.

The holiday is a time to recognize G-d’s creations. He created the world, water, animals, mountains, plants and people in six days.

L’Shana Tovah and have an easy fast.
