From a report on general meeting of the Washington Society of Jewish Deaf (WSJD), held at the WHC Julia Binderman Center in Potomac, MD:
This event took place at the Washington Hebrew Congregation where the children as well adults enjoyed mingling with the hearing people for Purim Celebration. The meeting room was pretty well filled up with our WSJD interested members who have elected new officers.
The new WSJD officers are as follows:
President – Jeff Cohen
Vice President – Suzy Singleton Rosen
Secretary – Susan Cohen
Treasurer – Jeff Buxbaum
An oath ceremony will be held for the new officers. Steve Brenner will remain on the board as Emeritus President guiding them all the way.
