Supplies:
Two different shades of green construction paper File folder Blue construction paper Yellow yam Scissors Hole punch White glue.
Cut the tab off the file folder. Cut a rectangle out of the front of the folder so you are left with a 1 1/2 inch rim around the entire front of the folder.
Open the folder and glue a piece of paper on the inside back of the folder to cover it.
The frame will hang so that it is taller than it is wide, with the opening on the right side. Punch two holes in the top inside of the folder. String a 12-inch piece of yam through the two holes and tie the ends together to make a hanger.
Put glue along the top and bottom inside of the folder and close it to glue the front frame to the back of the folder.
Cut leaf shapes from the green papers. Glue them around the frame of the folder to cover it.
The side of the frame has been left open so that you can easily slip a tree certificate into it.
Or if you want to add a photo instead of tree certificate.
