Son of the late Paul and Sophie (Sandberg) Goodman. Loving brother of Allen Goodman and his wife Rona. Loving uncle of Mark and Robin Goodman. Leon founded The Boston Hebrew Association of the Deaf in 1961. The organization became part of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Boston in 1997.
