Students from Dimona come with “Read my Lips” face mask for the hearing impaired

November 17, 2020, News 1: PhD student Carolina Tannenbaum-Baruchi, whose parents are deaf, from the School of Public Health at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a researcher for the Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response have joined forces with Maayan Levin, mentor to the robotics team “Roboactive # 2096 From Dimona’s high school to create “Read My Lips” face mask, a transparent mask that does not fog up, developed through this collaboration with the student team.

The robotics team “Robactive # 2096” from Zinman Darca High School in Dimona developed the mask according to Tannenbaum-Baruchi’s research insights using their 3D printers.
