Jeffrey Cohen, president of Washington Society of Jewish Deaf (WSJD) announced that Dina Padden was selected as their new Program Director.
“In this part-time position, Dina will focus on planning and coordinating events for the WSJD. Her duties will include the following:
“Manage, at a minimum, logistics of programs, such as Hanukkah, Passover, Sukkot, Shabbat dinners, Annual meeting, and the ASL High Holy Days
Oversee logistics for each program/event (i.e. booking facilities, ordering food, coordinating volunteers, and other related areas)
Promote all WSJD events through social media outlets
Work with the webmaster to update events on the website
Participate in WSJD board meetings as a non-voting member
Assist in fundraising efforts
Her job responsibilities will not include leading spiritual or religious services.”
