Rabbi Yehoshua Soudakoff with Jewish Multimedia Center and The Jewish Deaf Foundation in New York City has announced four Chanukah celebration events this year.
After coordinating successful first-ever Deaf Chanukah Celebration in New York City last year attended by over 300 people, Gallaudet University in Washington, DC and Rochester Deaf Chanukah Celebration, Rabbi Soudakoff is even more ambitious with this year’s plans!
While full details are not yet available, the following four Deaf Chanukah celebration events have been announced:
Sunday, December 6th – Washington, D.C.
Tuesday, December 8th – Rochester, NY
Thursday, December 10th – New York City, NY
Sunday, December 13th – Nessah Synagogue, Beverly Hills, CA.
Reports indicate committee consists of Rabbi Yehoshua Soudakoff, Irina Miriam Normatov, Jackie Roth, and Diana Abayeva.
