Joe Slotnick, president of Temple Beth Solomon of the Deaf (TBS) in southern California was recipient of the 2013 Deaf Citizen of the Year award by District 12 of the Los Angeles City Council on September 27th.
TBS honored him with a gracious gift basket during its October 4th Sabbath Service.
