Jewish Deaf French Group Plans to visit America

ASJFfranceCeline Hayat president of ASJF (Association of the Deaf Jews in France) and Avrham Gershovitz, assistant treasurer have prepared a 4 1/2 minute video to announce plans for a group of deaf French people to visit two cities in the U.S. in 2013.

May 29 – June 9
Washington, DC & New York City

Plans are for the group to participate in the Jewish Deaf Congress conference in Washington, DC.

Participation in conference includes Shabbat and Banquet on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday hosted by JDC with deaf Jews attending from America, France and international countries including Sweden, England, Belgium and Israel.

The French group plans to tour attractions in DC including the Holocaust Museum, Gallaudet University and the White House. Then they will head for New York City where they will see the Empire State Building, World Trade Center Memorial and other places in Manhattan.
