The Deafhood Foundation was one of several sponsors of a community presentation by Mark Zaurov, a Deaf PhD candidate from Hamburg, Germany on May 5, 2011.
Zaurov, a deaf doctoral student at University of Hamburg in Germany and presenter on deaf holocaust experiences, was interviewed for a video which appears on the Deafhood Discussions website.
Zaurov shared his research and knowledge on Deaf Holocaust, the Deaf Jew experience in Europe especially during the early 20th century, and some well-known or successful Deaf Jew people and artists.
