This latest video from Jewish Deaf Multimedia (JDMM) is called Parshas Acharei. In Hebrew, “acharei” means “after.” This is because this portion was said after the passing of Aaron’s two sons, Nadav and Avhiu.
What exactly did the two do to cause their deaths? There are various explanations. In the Chassidic tradition, it is explained that Nadav and Avihu passed away when their souls went to a level so high that they simply detached away from their physical bodies.
