Bram Weiser has announced that Tifereth Israel-Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue in Manhattan is hosting a sign-language-interpreted Shabbat Service on February 19th where an “Aufruf”, a special ceremony held just days before they marry, will be held.

The interpreter was provided at the request of Steve and Dorothy Brenner from Rockville, MD, parents of the bride.They will be called to the Torah during this ceremony.

The Service will include full readings from the Torah and Haftorah (Prophets),

A Kiddush sponsored by the couple followed the service. The deaf/hearing interpreting team was Naomi Brunnlehrman and Christopher Tester.

T&V is located at 334 East 14th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan.
