Latest posting from Jewish Deaf Multimedia (JDMM) says they have completed all parshah videos for the first book (Genesis) of the Five Books of Moses which is still available on the JDMM website.
“In this week’s parsha, we learn about our important missions as Jewish Deaf people,” the latest JDMM message says, “Though the Torah text itself does not mention anything about deaf people, we see Chushim, the deaf son of Dan, in the Midrash (traditional rabbinic teachings).
“He was the one who rescued the day when Jacob’s burial in Israel was being unreasonably obstructed by his twin brother Esau. If you have not heard about Chushim and how he showed that deaf people can do anything (except hear), we think you should watch the parsha video this week!”
