Forest Hills shul hosts deaf Shabbaton
During the prayers the private conversations were silent but visible. Amid the worshippers of Congregation Machane Chodosh in Forest Hills were 20 Jewish deaf visitors for a shabbaton sponsored by Our Way, a Jewish deaf organization within the National Jewish Council for Disabilities.
