Three Jewish Deaf Female Leaders At DeafHope Fundraiser

Dr. Roslyn Rosen, Suzy Rosen Singleton (both left), and Nancy Bloch (right), prominent leaders in the deaf community who are Jewish, participated in DeafHope’s 9th annual Tea Party on September 25th.

Dr. Roslyn Rosen is director of the National Center on Deafness (NCOD) at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Her daughter, Suzy Rosen Signelton is a deaf attorney who has practiced disability law for fifteen years.

DeafHopeNancy Bloch, outgoing chief executive officer of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) was keynote speaker.

The DeafHope Tea Party, held at Veterans Memorial Building in in Pleasanton, CA,  is a fundraiser to support direct services for abused Deaf women and their children at DeafHope.
