Rabbi Rebecca Dubowe is teaching an “Introduction to Judaism” class online from February 8 – June 28, 2021.
Rabbi Dubowe is the first deaf woman to be ordained as a rabbi in the United States. She is currently intentional interim rabbi for Moses Montefiore Congregation in Bloomington, IL.
The Union of Reform Judaism is offering this class. There is a limit of 12 spaces. Registration ends February 5.

There is a tuition fee but scholarships are available. The Union for Reform Judaism wants Deaf individuals and does not want to turn anyone away. Registration is open to all Deaf individuals, Jewish and/or on a spiritual quest to learn more about Judaism.
