Deaf Israel Protest on Signs Accessibility

A public protest was held in Jerusalem in mid-July to protest poor and failed treatment due to the lack of accessibility in sign language translation and transcription. Israeli’s Shirley Pinto says it happens to hundreds of thousands of deaf and hard of hearing Israelis. “We will not be silent anymore!… We have the right to understand the treatment we receive in the health services – a very basic right!”
