For the first time, Jewish Deaf Community Center (JDCC) is hosting a “JDCC Online Community Seder” where participants can be part of Seder at the dining table of their own homes through use of Zoom and a computer.
This First “JDCC Online Community Seder” will be held using Zoom software which is free to download.
Four online Seders have been scheduled:
Wed, April 8th – First Evening
Thurs, April 9th – Second Evening
Advance Registration is required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with more details on joining this JDCC Online Community Seder.
Everyone is welcome. Each Seder is limited to 100 people who participate from their computers/laptops.
We are also welcoming participants who would like to be a Reader/Signer.
We are using a webinar format where all participants would see the Seder Host who will also have selected participants take turns reading/signing a paragraph in the JDCC Haggadah.
Everyone in your household should sit at a table and use a desktop computer or laptop at the table during the Seder. We do not recommend you use iPhone or iPad. Participants would raise hands to ask any questions or share information.
We will see everyone’s video during the 45-minute dinner break. Then the service will resume to finish reading/signing the JDCC Haggadah.
