The Center for Jewish History (CJH), a partnership of five Jewish history, scholarship, and art organizations in New York City has a collection that illuminates the history of Deaf and Hard of Hearing culture.
JD Arden, a genealogy librarian says they have access to Ancestry, a book collection and now archive materials on Deaf history especially in Poland and Germany. This information is available online.
“A lot of our staff has learned basic ASL too,” JD Arden adds.
