Brooklyn Hebrew Society of the Deaf (BHSD) is hosting their “Miracle Lightfest Hanukkah” on Dec 22, 2019.
Betty Kasher and Ro Weinrib are hostess of this event which is sponsored by Sorenson.
E. Lynn Jacobowitz, Ph.D. is guest speaker. A retired professor of Gallaudet University, Dr. Jacobowitz will perform a comedy show about the Deaf & Jewish way of life.
Rabbi Fred Freidman, who led BHSD high holiday services for 34 years, will light the first night candle on the menorah.
