Rabbi Keara of Pasadena, CA is the new rabbi at Temple Beth Solomon of the Deaf (TBS) in Northridge, CA. She officiated her first Shabbat service in June.
Married to husband Jason, they have twelve-year old step son and four-year old twins. She has a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies and a minor in music from Williamette University in Salem, OR.
She grew up in Arizona where her mother was an occupational therapist at the School of the Deaf.
More recently she led Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services.
