Happy Chanukah!

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped at JDCC’s booth during Deaf Expo. It was good seeing everyone who visited us.

Imagine the first Chanukah candle lighting will be on Christmas Day – December 25th in 2005!!!

Hard to believe but JDCC’s Five Year Calendar will end in 2005. This was the second printing we did after a successful first printing in 1997. We would like to know if you feel it helped you and in what way did it help you? Do you like the magnetic board concept? Any ideas? Please send email to us at [email protected] and we will take it into consideration when we start making promotion plans in the early summer.

We still see Jewish holiday conflict with deaf events. Once the organizer has our Five Year Calendar, it prevents future conflicts. I hope the National Association of the Deaf will follow up with our request to make a motion for all of their chapters not to conflict with the Jewish holidays.
