IsraeliTroupe1For the 21st consecutive time the National Asociation for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing People of the Czech Republic ( or, Svaz Neslysicich a Nedoslychavych ) organized the International Pantomime Festival, in which top performers from various countries took part. The city of Brno, since 1970 and to now, has been the permanent host of this biennial global event, which is officially sanctioned by the World Federation of the Deaf ( W.F.D. ).

The top awards of the Festival were presented to the members of the RUKH Troupe of the city of Minsk, Belarus, in the categories of solo and group performances, while the host - the Czechs - came in second.

The biggest surprise of the Festival was the presence of the Israeli delegation, which was organized and led by Rafael Pinchas.
