Hebrew Language Interpreting/Technology Challenges For Deaf Student In Public School

This is a mother's personal journey that I would like to share with parents, deaf students, and others. It is a challenge raising deaf children in today's climate, despite the fact that we have the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and other regulations/laws that are here to protect us. My journey has shown me that obstacles still exists.

I am a deaf parent with three deaf children, Joshua, Michael, and Rachel who attend programs in the Burbank Unified School District. Formerly known as TRIPOD, Burbank is known nationally and internationally for their co-enrollment model program.
